Sagging First, these shelves have a nice finish and included all the hanging fasteners plus very good instructions. Second, the problem is the bracket which is attached at the top only, per the directions, sits out from the wall by the width of the plastic fastener. This causes the shelf to sag down in the front. Solutions: either shim the bracket to level shelf or use wall fastener on both top and bottom of bracket or if possible, attach to studs. March 18, 2013

Sleek and classic I put this shelf next to a chair in the bedroom. The space doesn't have enough room for a side table so this shelf was perfect to keep a lamp and a few books handy. I love the sleek look and it's so sturdy I don't have to worry about the books on it. February 22, 2013

good shelves Overal these were good shelves at a fair price. Some shelves came with minor damage but not worth the trouble of returning as I was able to locate the damaged area out of sight. I will likely purchase from here again as long as the damaged goods issue doesn't continue. November 29, 2012

Go with something else... I got these for my baby's nursery - as they looked like they would match her furniture & hold a number of trinkets. Once they arrived (I ordered online), they sat around for a few weeks before I opened them up & took a look. The front, bottom corners of the larger shelf are bent - both corners - and there is no hiding this when the shelf is installed. Because I've in a hurry to complete the room, we decided to just install them as is. My husband was able to install the shelves easily enough; however, they are so heavy they do not sit level. We ended up going to the hardware store & purchasing L brackets to install underneath the shelves, just so they would be level. They look nice enough; however, If I could do it again, I would purchase something else. November 12, 2012
