White elfa freestanding Mudroom
I am a quilter with a very large stash of fabrics (A Quilter's Quote: "The quilter who dies with the largest stash wins...").
Due to frequent relocations, I store my fabric in large plastic totes sorted by colors, designers (Kaffe Fasset, Laurel Burch, etc.), or themes. I am also disabled with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis so if I stack the tubs on top of one another, it is almost impossible for me to get to a tote in the middle of the stack. The Elfa Free-Standing Shelving with shelves works perfectly. Depending on the length of the shelving we can put several totes side-by-side on each of the shelves and I can open the totes while on the shelves and easily get to the fabric I need.

I love this system, we tweaked it a little with our own design but it is clean an beautiful. My boys put their shoes, coats, backpacks on it when they walk through the door, Awesome looking, and no holes in the walls to deal with.

Suits us just fine!
Nice system! Looks a little bit bigger in person in our mudroom than anticipated, but we quickly got used to it. Love the fact that we can modify it as needed with additional items, or just switch around what we already have.
My ONLY complaint is that the small plastic clips for the bottom shoe rack keep flipping off. When one flips off, the rack droops on that side. We have to find the clip and put it back on repeatedly. Something more stable should be used to secure the bottom shoe rack.
