Platinum elfa Laundry Door & Wall Rack Solution 4.9 5 26 27
Space saving, functional and AWESOME! Redid a crowded laundry room with Elfa everything and it turned out beautifully. I love the Elfa products. They are well made, easy to install and worth every penny, especially during their sales! April 13, 2014
Makes me happy! I bought two of these--one for my linen closet and one for the door to my stackable washer/dryer. Easy to install, sturdy and a definite space saver. April 9, 2014
durable and functional This rack was easy to assemble and very sturdy. It has given me extra storage space in my kitchen pantry. December 15, 2013
Flexible storage solution I purchased this system in order to store cleaning products on the inside of the basement door that is located in my kitchen. I was able to adapt this system for the two panel door in my 100 year old house that was not standard size. I could not use the tension clips because there was not enough clearance at either the top or or the bottom of my door. So I cut two inches off the center bar, using a metal grinder. I used drywall screws to screw the center bar directly into the cross bars of my door. And I stabilized the baskets (which necessarily sat in the recessed parts of the door) by cutting fir strips which I wedged behind the baskets and extended 1 inch on each side of the baskets onto the side panels of the door that are not recessed. The end result looks fabulous and gives me a whole cabinet's worth of storage! October 21, 2013

All prices and descriptions seem identical. Is there any difference between them or are they just located in different sections on the website?

Many of them are quite similar with a few differences in basket components. We do sell the products by individual components, or you can also design your own Door & Wall Rack Tool on our website under the elfa section. If you need further assistance, please contact our customer solutions department or LiveChat with us.

How deep is the overdoor hook?

My doors are slightly thicker than standard doors -- about 1-3/4" thick. Will the overdoor hook from which this system hangs be deep enough to accommodate my door?

The Overdoor Hooks included in this Kit accommodate a 1-3/8" thick residential door. However, Commercial Overdoor Hooks, item 10022013, are available to accommodate a 1-3/4" thick door.

I have a panel door, so the center is recessed from the border molding. Will it be secure if I mount it on the top and bottom only (where the molding is thicker), leaving a gap behind most of the length of the standard?
