Platinum elfa Mesh Compact Fridge Cart

This cart makes the perfect accessory for a mini refrigerator in a dorm room, office...anywhere! It features two 1-Runner Mesh Drawers and one 2-Runner Mesh Drawer for holding snacks, napkins or plates. The tight mesh and closed corners of the drawers prevent smaller items from falling through. What Every Dorm Room Needs! When my kids started college, I needed something to store their food and stationary supplies without taking up valuable space in their closet sized dorm rooms. Knowing that they would also need a compact fridge, this cart was the ideal solution. The cart held a tall mini fridge well along with a compact microwave that sat on top of the fridge. We were able to store pens, highlighters, note cards, etc. in the top drawer while the other two were used to store instant soup packages, popcorn, and other microwaveable items. When the kids moved to a townhouse, the cart was very handy as an extra set of drawers as well as a place to stack items. The cart goes well with any decor and was quite attractive as well as sturdy. Perfect I mostly got this because it hurt my back to constantly bend down to put things in and take things out of my fridge, and all the extra storage was just a bonus. Some other reviewers have stated that the top does not attach by anything more than some strong double-sided sticky tape. I have a larger sized mini fridge and I think the weight helped secure the tape more than a small fridge might have. April 6, 2013

Very Useful I got this cart when i went to college 4 years ago. It was wonderful in school because It provided extra storage for food (so I didn't always have to eat in the cafeteria). And now that I've graduated and moved into my first apartment I use it still. I have it in my kitchen and I put my microwave on it. I have a large microwave and this is the perfect place to put it so it doesn't take up any counter space (since it's so limited in apartment kitchens) I also still love the extra storage since I don't have many cabinets. This honestly has to be my favorite purchase from the Container store and I strongly recommend it. The only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is that the board that goes across the top just sits on top it doesn't actually attach so it can slide off if you run into it. March 31, 2013
