Natural Cotton Hanging Storage Bags
Good option; always room for improvement
I bought three of the suit bags and three of the dress bags for long-term storage in our attic. I held out on buying these until they went on sale. The assembly was fairly straightforward but the bottom frame is just a piece of cardboard -- had hoped for something more sturdy. Some suggestions for the manufacturer:
- Reconsider the design of the interior hanging rack. Make grooves more defined.
- Replace cardboard bottom frame with something less flimsy.
- Consider adding spaces for label inserts. Maybe a plastic sleeve on each side so I can insert labels describing the contents. I have more than one of these in the attic.
- Maybe add a clear PEVA window to one or two sides (Front & Rear?) of the bag. That way you get the best of breathable cotton and the visibility of clear plastic.
I've been struggling to organize my closet for years and these are helping me immensely. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase. It is like having several mini wardrobes.

Wonderfully Clean Looking Suit Storage
I recently bought 2 of the suit storage bags and boy am I glad I did. I was tired of looking at suits and sports coats just hanging in plastic bags. I was doing some spring cleaning and wanted to re-vamp our closet and brought these home. Super easy to put up and I just love the look. it keeps everything in place and nice and neat looking and now all I see is this natural looking storage bag and not a bunch of suits on hangers. As of right now, I have 4 suits (pants & jackets) hanging inside one storage bag and 4 sports coats hanging in the other. I would highly recommend these over the plastic bag type storage bags. It just neatened everything up...so happy with this purchase and I even got them on sale, which allowed me to splurge on others items from the Container Store....which I absolutely love!

Poor quality metal components
Nice design, and the canvas fabric is reasonable quality. But unfortunately many of the metal components are made from low-grade iron wire, and have about as much strength as cold butter. When the bag is loaded heavily (e.g., with winter garments), the first thing to break is a set of three crimped bands made from soft metal. When these open, the garments fall to the bottom of the bag and the load is then on the fabric. This causes the canvas to rip away from the grommets set in the top, and also the metal frame then bends. There are also several soft wire supports between the frame and the hanger bar which bend and open. After a couple of months, the whole thing came crashing down. I am not sure if I can repair it. Overall the metal frame is inadequate, and should be constructed instead from wood doweling, or heavy gauge steel rod stock. The current frame appears to have been assembled in the third world using pliers and spools of cheap wire. Personally I would rather have this item be better made, and pay more for higher quality. The $20 price point is nice, but I would have been happier spending $50 or $75 for a version which would not break.

Great For Storing Your Clothing
Well made, cotton bags that hold lots of clothes. The interior rod holds up well to clothing, and hangers, with weight. Have used these for many years and have never had the interior rod break or bend. Nice long zipper that allows for ease in putting clothes in the bag.
