Scotch® Adhesive Putty
This is that classic wall putty that everyone put stuff up in dorm rooms until command adhesive was invented. It hardly holds, leaves icky wet looking spots on the paper you hang, looks gross (like you are hanging stuff up with already chewed gum...), and basically is just a waste of time and money. I'm not even sure why Container Store sells this stuff! save your time and effort and go get command adhesive strips!

Use this at the bottom of the frame to hold frame in place against the wall...so it will not travel.

Classic adhesive for hanging light papers
While the other reviews did not like this stuff, I actually specifically went looking for it. The Container Store is one of the few places that still sells it. I just wanted to hang some index cards and postcards on my wood-paneled wall and this has worked perfectly. One tip though, it does dry out, so stick any left over in a sealed plastic bag.

Not sticky enough
Everything I put up with this ends up falling down.
