Love this idea! I bought this for a Christmas present for my brother. As soon as I heard about it, I had to buy it for him. Great idea to have a dry erase board with style! I wish that this one was magnetic, but there are larger ones available that are magnetic. March 19, 2012
Handy little pad My 5 year old daughter has loved drawing on this, we had a great time making our house and even practicing words/letter forms together. I bought it for work to-do lists, so I may have to pick up another for home. Comfortable, easy to use, erases well and looks great. April 22, 2012
Functions well, works great I have a variety of dry erase boards- stainless, plain white, and this bamboo one (real bamboo, by the way!). I have found that having multiple dry erase boards is the best way for me to keep organized. I use a large one for "overall planning", smaller ones for particular projects and I use this desktop one for my daily To Do. The way this board props itself up makes it excellent for daily use on your desktop, as it's easy to read while it lays flat. The pen with the eraser end is AWESOME- I actually use the little eraser for all my boards, since I can erase just words with it. I also like the thick, sort of calligraphy-way the pen writes. The ink is darker and thicker than other dry erase pens. A bit fragrant, though. I also appreciate the bamboo- dry erase can look very 'utilitarian' or 'school-like,' but the bamboo does a great job of making it look like a part of your home. It erases well enough. Better than white boards but not as well as stainless. The main drawback is that the piece that turns it into a propped-up board just slides into place and there's really nothing holding it there. So sometimes when I grab it quickly, the piece might fall out. Not a big deal to me, as I would still buy another one of these. April 18, 2013
Fun Pad I swear I didn't know that my family was going to love this product or use it as much as we are. I bought it to leave a to do list for my cleaning lady. As it turns out, my husband and I are know leaving short love letters. What I didn't know, he was taking pictures of them on his iPhone for keepsake...no joke, how romantic, right! If I could tell the manufacture to change the marker to a finer point and make the board waterproof, that would be awesome!!! The downside is the marker erases, but not completely and it leaves small specks of black dust from erasing. I did try to wash it...big mistake as water made the wood expand:( Which I should have known would happen. March 30, 2014

Bamboo is a group of woody perennial evergreen plants of the grass family. Some of its members are giant bamboo, forming by far the largest members of the grass family. Bamboo is the fastest growing woody plant in the world: up to three to four feet a day. This accelerated growth rate allows bamboo to be harvested in three to five years, far more often than the 10 to 20 year harvest cycle of most softwoods. Unlike the environmental damage caused by the deforestation of trees, proper harvesting of bamboo leaves the root system intact, creating little or no topsoil disruption. This renewable, sustainable resource produces 35% more oxygen than its equivalent in trees while reducing carbon dioxide gas that is blamed for global warming. With the tensile strength of steel, it's the strongest growing woody plant in the world.
