Touch Feature Not a Benefit
This fan cooled me off on many occasions, but it is not without its faults. The blades get bent when you keep it in a bag or briefcase, and I constantly have to bend them to get them to work. The touch feature is annoying because you have to hold both sides to get the fan to operate. The fan is a bit wide for smaller hands. Also, you must have the holder if you want the fan to stand and run unassisted. The air output is average but not outstanding. The fan also could be a bit quieter.

Okay, the battery thing, I dunno. But I got two for my kids to take to camp next week. Extra batteries (thanks for the battery life info) and don't squish the fan blades (another thank you). So we'll see how they fare. I have low expectations of a tiny plastic fan, so unless they actually make the air warmer, I'll be satisfied. If it turns out they're terrible, I will post. So far, I give it a "good" because it's designed to do exactly what I want and it seems to move a lot of air for a l'il bitty fan.

No Battery Problems
I purchased this fan 2 summers ago, and have only gone through 2 sets of batteries. I'd estimate I was using it twice a week for about an hour at a time (June-September). I do agree the fan blades get crunched too easily. This needs a protective case to be a 5 star item.
