exactly what I was looking for I was looking for a stylish, slim profile file holder to hang on my kitchen wall to catch stray papers that formerly collected on the island. This is perfect. It is sleek, looks great and holds just enough so that I can hold on to a few catalogs until I have time to sit down and look at them, but not so much that I will slack getting rid of stuff I don't need. fantastic way to contain files I LOVE these wall pockets. I use them for so many things. I have one that holds necessary files that I refer to often. One holds my daughter's art and school papers. I have one in my sewing nook to hold clear envelopes with patterns. The magnets are ideal to hold notes and inspiring bits. I tend not to use them, as I'm concerned that my little ones could be injured. March 3, 2010
Good but could have been awesome! When I bought this product I was under the impression that the back was magnetic. This isn't so. It would have been neat to have a sort pile magnetically attached to the side of my metal filing cabinet. I'm sure it's a great product, just not what I expected, so I returned it. May 25, 2010
Misleading Name I bought this for my refrigerator since it was a "magnetic wall pocket." The name is very misleading because the only magnets are tiny magents that will stick to the steel. You have a use screws to hang it up. Nice product, but not what I wanted. November 16, 2010

How much weight will the pocket hold?

I'm interested in using the pocket to hold file folders in an office supply room. Could it hold a certain number of pounds without slipping?

Answer:
We do not have a weight capacity available for this product as it depends upon how it is mounted into your wall. The wall pocket is designed to support magazines, mail, pictures, and paper documents. We do not recommend placing heavy items like text books in the wall pocket.

Only the front of the product is magnetic. You will need to mount it directly to a wall in order to utilize it.
