Stainless Steel Magnetic Dry Erase Boards
Stainless is the best for dry erase!
I bought one of these stainless dry erase boards, a few small traditional white erase boards and a desktop bamboo dry erase board- so I have a variety to compare this against. Conclusion? Stainless is an AWESOME dry erase surface. It simply does not hold on to residue like the white ones- it is always easy to erase.
Sure, there are certain colors that don't 'pop' on it, but the colors that do- really pop!
The frame is nothing fancy (just plastic), but it keeps the cost down which is fine by me.

we have two boards, the medium sized one and the slender board. we love them for quick notes and to post things up for all to see with cool magnets.

Attractive but overpriced
We bought the large square one of these and I must say I am less than impressed with the quality. The board is pretty, but for the price I really expected better from The Container Store. The frame does not lie flat against the edge of the board and the hanging hardware is flimsy and kept bending and coming out of its slot.
On the plus side, it looks great. We'll be careful not to use heavy duty magnets so it won't scratch, and the dry erase surface works very well.

Nice looking update from classic white board
I use this board a LOT. I was happy to replace my old frumpy white board with something a little more modern. When not in use, it wipes clean and looks nice.
