Anthracite 5-Bin Storage Tower
Shoe Storage Solution
I bought this tower in the larger size that is now available (only in white currently). Although on the expensive side, it's turned out to be the best shoe storage solution for me. I hate the shoe storage options that leave the shoes out in the open -- that looks great in the magazine, where every show is clean as a whistle, just out of the box for the photo shoot, and also color coordinated. (Whose shoes come in only three colors??) Not so much when the shoes have actually been used and come in a dozen different shades and styles. I also find the shoe boxes a hassle because once you start to stack them, opening and closing those little doors is just a pain. This tower holds 3 pairs of shoes in each pull-out drawer. They are hidden away, but easy to access, and my closet never looked so streamlined and tidy. I plan on purchasing one for my husband. If I trip over a pair of his shoes one more time⿦.

Cute, useful, easy to open
I'm using this in a closet as part of a dresser alternative. I have socks sorted by function in a few of the drawers. It's a neat and attractive storage solution.

nice idea but...
After a few weeks of use here is my review.
The construction was not what I had envisioned. Not adequate for even moderately heavy drawer items. I have some bundled computer cables in one of the draws and it seems weighed down and the draw it slightly misaligned from the weight. The drawer themselves do operate independently either. It seems I open one and they all iopen. I am constantly trying to keep them aligned when I close them as well. As soon as I close one another moves open. Its a slight opening but enough to through off the symmetry of the aesthetic which is counter to the whole point of these. The storage is also not very good. The description claims it can accommodate standard letter paper well. Not true. the dimensions leave things cramped and I find the draw sizes impractical for the things I want to put in them. I bought this to replace a similar thin storage unit in my office and I can only fit 3\4 of the contents despite larger dimensions. Its also difficult to organize things in these draws. I find myself contemplating buying even more "stuff" for drawer organization. Regarding paper storage. The weakness of the single hinge of the drawers makes it impractical to support the weight of more than a few pamphlets or small notebooks. Forget a ream of paper. I still like the look and the small footprint. With some reorganization it may have a place in my office. Perhaps my review will change after some trial and error. Unfortunately this was meant to a practical exchange for an older storage system.
One suggestion on future design would be variable sized drawers from shallow to deep.
