Great for organizing in the open I've got a small area for my office that is visible from the living room. These help me stay organized and look great. I ordered several for bills and saving important documents. The hanging file tabs fit fine under the closed lid and I like the label option on the end of each. April 8, 2013

Sturdy -- but only for a while I've used these for years, and am online now buying more. However beware that the metal bars that hold the files can handle so much weight. Over time, they slide down into the file, making it irreparable. For the price, you'd think they'd be sturdier for the long haul. I have to buy more because my whole office decor is made of these. If that weren't the case, I would probably seek out something else. so my advice is don't load with too many files or weighty files and you should be ok. Wish I could tell you what that limit is! Replaced a standing file cabinet I bought four of these to replace a standing file cabinet that was penning me into a corner. I keep two on a shelf above my desk with a Bristol magazine holder in between, and two on the floor next to my desk for the files I use very frequently. They look great, are sturdy, and really keep things neat. The only downside is that if you have plastic labels on your hanging folders, or file folders that hang within the hanging file folders and are a little too full, the lid doesn't close completely. If you bend the labels back a bit, though, you can usually solve this problem. March 26, 2013

Sturdy & Attractive I have four of these file boxes and they work perfect. Very sturdy, easy to access and look nice on my bookshelf. A great upgrade from the ugly plastic bins I had before! March 22, 2013
