the item is effective when it is fresh. the first time I purchased the item it works well. The last time the glue was dried out April 24, 2012

Very Strong and Holding Well I've used these on two Elfa desks and I've not had any problems. The backing came off fairly easily after I put my fingernail in between and pulled back slowly. They are keeping my desk held together well and the couple of times that we've moved them it has been nice to be able to take the pieces apart and then put them back together. November 19, 2011

Not usable The glue on the backing is too strong. I couldn't peel the backing off. Also, areas that I could peel it off the glue came off all together. May 5, 2011

Frustrating Needed these fasteners to attach desktop to runners. The 1st fastener came off easily. The other 3 - well, the glue was so strong it stuck to the plastic backing and came clean off the actual fastener - so totally wasted March 12, 2011
