Share this product with everyone you love What a great product! What a great idea! I was interested in the product when I saw it listed in the flyer. I went to the store and one of the sales people demonstrated it for me. I knew then, without a doubt, that it was fantastic. I bought 3 of them and am now showing them off to friends and family - encouraging everyone to buy one or two or more. It gives me a little more piece of mind when I'm out late or out holiday shopping. November 16, 2013
Don't Leave Home Without It! My college daughter leaves the library late at night, and this helps her (and me!) feel more at ease. The alarm is piercing, sure to alert people around you if you need help. I've purchased these for all the women on my Christmas list! November 29, 2013

Answer:
This product operates similar to a clothes pin. You will squeeze the two end pieces to open the opposite side, and then you will just clip it onto your other garment. To trigger the alarm, you will need to unclip it and let the two ends touch together. Your clothing actually serves as a buffer.

If you need to sound the alarm, just pull the alarm off of your clothing and throw it so that it cannot be easily dissabled.

Our Clip-On Personal Alarm uses an AG10 battery. To test this type of battery, you will need to use a multimeter, which is a device that gauges electric currents and voltage.

How do you open the battery compartment?

I have been trying to open the battery compartment as the battery is said to be replaceable, but I have been prying along the seam on the side, and can not get it to open. Is there a trick to this I'm missing? There are no instructions included regarding this. I really like the product and hope to keep it around for awhile.

Also, do you expect to get any more of these in the near future?

Answer:
To access the battery, you will need to dislodge the small screws on the back of the product. Since the battery will be dead upon changing it, you will not have to worry about sounding the alarm.

This product is exclusive to our Stocking Stuffer campaign, and will not be carried year-round.
