Has worked well for me
I have a small ledge behind my desk where I had put my power strip. The cords created an unsightly mess. This holds the power strip and extra cord lengths nicely and has a sleek, simple look. You must be prepared for the size of it - it is not small (which is why it holds so much). The "cable ties" that came with it are not very good - they should have included better ones. They manage to get the job done but the ones wrapped around cords when you buy electronics are often much better than these.
All in all I'm pleased and if you have the right place to put it, I recommend it.

Over priced but worth it
Considering this is basically just a (well designed) plastic box, the price seems a bit steep. However, it solves a common problem extremely well. I got my first one for my computer and related gear, and I'm planning to get a second for my TV and its accessories.
It could also be just a little wider to better accommodate those large transformers that overlap the edge of the surge protector and my Airport Express.

Fabulous solution for power cords in any room
When I first saw these I thought "30 bucks?! I could use any old plastic box and do the same thing!" Well... I can't. Too much trouble to track down the right size, cut holes in it, etc.
This thing is geniusâ¿¿it hides that rat's nest of cable under your desk/the TV/anywhere you have a lot of electronic devices in one place. It's easy to open the lid if you need to get in there, and there's plenty of room for bundling up extra cable.

Great for puppy proofing!
Puppies love to explore things with their mouths. Wires and plugs are no exception! The CableBox keeps curious canine tongues away from surge protectors and excess cords while keeping them tidy and easily accessible for the rest of us.
