A Project's Best Friend I cannot describe to you my abiding passion for BPT (blue painters' tape)--its versatility can only be rivaled by a little black dress or a true Swiss Army knife. First, think of everytime you used tape and then regretted it once you had to remove it. With BPT for light, temporary holds, that is no longer an issue, even if that "temporary" turns into a few weeks, Poof! it pulls off - leaving nothing behind, and taking nothing with it. Especially great for labeling food containers, garage sale items, project sorting, designating zones on tables, walls, chairs, etc. Staining couch feet was the only time it left a little residue (easily sanded away), only stain under tape bled through from edge, otherwise left a nice, straight edge.
