Stainless Steel Oil Dispenser
I've had this for 15 years and finally have to replace it as my old one got dropped (read: crushed) during our recent move out of state. It works great! The tight-fitting lid helps keep oils from going rancid when kept at room temperature. I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about, but he should have just taken his old, badly fitting one back to the store and gotten a new one. The stainless steel is light-proof, which also slows the oxidizing process of the oil. The spout does not drip and is easy to control. The container itself is easy to fill and has a spill-control feature built in to the inside rim and spout. Dishwasher safe, and looks nice on the counter.
If you're going to keep oil at room temperature near the cooking area, this is a must-have.

Cheap, poorly built
The container is built of cheap, thin stainless steel. In the body, this isn't that big a deal, though I question its durability if it were getting knocked around on a counter. In the lid, on the other hand, this is a problem. The lid fits fairly tightly over the plastic insert inside, which would be a good thing, except that it's very light, and in the unit I got was slightly twisted to one side. This means that it won't close by itself - you have to press on it to close it. This may have been a defect in this particular unit, but I doubt that any similar unit would be much better; I was unable to fix the problem by gently bending the lid hinge, and I was afraid of breaking it off if I put too much pressure on it. I have returned the item, and I don't recommend it. There are better options out there.

not as expected
Its a bit less sturdy than expected and the oil drips on the canister's sides, which sort of defeats the purpose. After little use the lid is loose. Would not buy another one.

Spills :( Messy
I purchased this thinking it will be a better/neater alternative to my "Rachael Ray Oil Dispenser" but it turned out to be equally as messy.
When I poured the oil, it spills all over the container because the sprout is short and too close to the edge. The only way to fix this problem is if they make the sprout a bit taller and closer to the center of the container. That way when you pour it the left over oil will run to the middle of the container and not all over the exterior.
