Easy Pet Resolve for food storage! So I have a jack rusell rat terrior, gets into everything, plus 4 cats, that follow the leader. This storage bin holds all the cat food, with a great snap lock, and wheels which make it easy to roll out to the food dishes. Since there wasn't a storage bin a bit smaller with wheels for the dog food, the store associate suggested a show bin which sets on top of the other one perfectly! Now, no more pet food bag messes, and I can store it anywhere and move it anywhere! I love this simple product that makes a huge efficient, positive difference in our home! Thanks a bunch! Container is perfect, air tight. Our laundry room doesn't smell like dog food. :) Only gave it a 4 because I wish it would hold our 25lb bag of food. April 10, 2014
easy to use Love how easy it is to use the container. Keeps our dog's food dry and accessible. April 8, 2014
don't need it; can't live without it I buy birdseed by the 50 pound bag for my terrace. I didn't want a container to store it and didn't think I wanted wheels. the container was so inexpensive that i got it anyway. I'm so glad I did, and it's much easier than hoisting that bag -- just roll away. April 7, 2014

Are These Bug Proof?

Are these containers bug proof? I suddenly have an infestation of pantry moths and need something to store cat food in that will keep bugs out.

Answer:
These container are not bug-proof. You may want to look into our Click Clack Solutions, or you may want to look into our No-Moth solutions. Our Click Clacks are air tight, and our No-Moth kills moths with little to no odor. Please refer to our Product Recommendations for additional details.

We need an airtight and cockroach proof container to hold popcorn kernels for our elementary school PTO fundraiser. We store kernels year-round for "Popcorn Fridays" and we live in Florida - cockroach capital. The casters are perfect so we can easily move the containers from the storage area to the vending area.

Answer:
The Pet Food Containers are not airtight, so we cannot recommend them for your particular needs. You may want to try our Dry Food Vault. It is an airtight container that can hold from 45-50 lbs of food. Please reference the Product Recommendations below for additional details. Unfortunately it is not on casters.

Outside storage?

I want something I can store birdseed in on my deck. Super hot out there in the summer. I'm wondering if there will be a problem with moisture collecting inside the container and if there is a better choice for a container.

Answer:
We do not recommend exposing this product directly to the elements, but you may place it in a garage, or on a porch. The product does feature airtight closures, which should help with the moisture concern. It is also constructed from polypropylene, which is a very sturdy plastic material.

The largest of these items are intended to store no more than 75 pounds of birdfeed and would probably not be the best choice for your cement storage.
