Makes my life easier EVERY day
I began purchasing The Container Store's clear shoe boxes a couple of years ago as I have several hundred pairs of shoes and needed a way to keep them organized. Not only do the clear boxes allow me to see all of my shoes and select a pair with ease, but they also stack nicely and keep the shoes dust free. I have moved several times and the boxes hold up well. I also purchase the boot boxes and am often able to get more than one pair of boots in each boot box. I have been very satisfied with this purchase and it makes my life easier every morning when I get dressed. Thank you Container Store for making my morning routine efficient!

Best shoebox on the market
These are absolutely the best shoeboxes on the market. As with all IRIS tubs, they are extremely clear and of very high quality plastic. They are shaped longer and more slender than, for example, the same volume Sterilite tub. The bottom is perfectly flat with no grooves, which makes for easy cleaning. To top it off, these are offered at a great price.
Only thing I can think of, is that their kids shoe box comes with holes in it (which is a nice feature for stinky shoes). While I wouldn't recommend they switch completely to that style, maybe pre-milled holes could be an option for this shoebox as well?

"The Box I Love"
I am a Professional Organizer and Coach. I keep a supply of the Men's Shoe Box in the trunk of my car at all times. These boxes are ideal for everything. They should be called the Everything Box. But, my clients usually say, "Do you have any of "those" boxes with you?" or "I need eight more of that box that I love."
One of the important things in organizing is to keep like items together. The size of this box is perfect for that. Not to big and not to small. And the fact that it is clear is what makes it perfect. Clear is essential. And the lid comes right off so that you can put it under the box when you are using the contents of the box. No lid getting in your way.
I have a hundred ways that I have used this box - but not once have I ever used it for shoes!! The name really needs to be changed :)

nice clear box
NIce clear, cheap, and sturdy box to hold stuff. With these boxes, you can still see what's inside while still getting some sturdy protection. It's not air tight which is good for storing cloths or other fabrics. Overall, good box for a good price.
