Useless set
Beyond the difficulty in getting the broom settled back into the dustpan, the dustpan was manufactured without a flat front edge. When sweeping dirt into the pan, it all brushes directly under the edge. Such lazy manufacturing!

Bad construction
Love the way it fit together, but the dustpad is poorly constructed. The plastic on the dustpan is so thin that the lip warps so the dust sweeps under the pan rather than in it. I will definitely be returning this item.

Dysfunctional product
One insurmountable problem with this item is that the rubber on the front edge of the collection receptacle is flimsy and does not lie flat on the floor. Consequently, it is impossible to sweep debris into the receptacle -- it merely flies under the rubber edge and lodges under the receptacle -- unless you stand on one edge of the rubber strip. If you do, of course, you must sweep the debris about your own foot and into the receptacle. I am returning to my old broom and dust pan!

Good idea; very bad execution
The handle is too short. I am 5'6", not unusually tall, and must bend over the whole time I am sweeping. After a short time, the bending becomes a nuisance. Then, the dustpan does not sit flush on the floor, so quite a lot of the debris goes under the pan. You must keep moving the pan and sweeping until all the dirt and dust manages to go in. It never ALL goes in. It is less trouble to use a regular broom while standing upright and then bending over briefly to sweep the dirt into a dustpan once. No time or effort saved by a dust pan you can use while upright if you must try numerous times to get the dust into the pan, all the time bending over to use the broom. The idea is good but the product is really flimsy and useless.
