A better laundry basket
We purchased this laundry basket in all four colors. Each member of our family is assigned their own color. We started a new system of folding the laundry and placing it into each persons basket. Then the kids can take their own basket to their room and put their clothes away. Breaking it up by load makes the task manageable. Most importantly, because these baskets fold down, they are easy to store on the floor of our linen closet. Having a traditional laundry basket for every member of the house would required a lot of space to store when not in use. These are easy, functional, and compact, even my 7 year old son can fold them and put them away. The handle also makes it easy for the children to carry, even on the steps. Now we have not more piles of clean laundry waiting to be put away.

Perfect for what I needed.
I bought this item to store quilts and throws in our bedroom and it has been perfect! It maintains it's shape and is a great size to hold blankets and throws! Gotta love the Container Store!

Great laundry basket!
I'm using this basket in "pink" as a laundry hamper in my daughter's nursery, and it's the perfect size. The handles make it easy to tote dirty clothes to the laundry room, and it's of a size where it's not cumbersome to carry. I also appreciate the fact that it can be wiped clean. The pink colors aren't as vibrant as they are portrayed in the product image, but are still lovely!

Will Buy More
Nice lightweight crunch can. We are using it in my daughter's room for a hamper. Even though it's lightweight, it is sturdy and durable. I plan on purchasing the round version to replace my laundry baskets.
