Pop-Open Sweater Dryer 4.5 5 26 26
Hard to fold; frame broke 1st time I used it The first time I used it, I found it a bit difficult to arrange the sweater on it because the thing kept rocking every time I touched it. After the sweater dried, I tried to gently fold it, but it wouldn't fold down like it did in the store. I didn't try to force it, just gently twisted, but it wouldn't pop into the folded form. Then I saw that the stiff "frame" around the outside had broken. Now it won't fold down, nor does it have that sort of "potato chip" shape that it did originally. More like an upside down "V" now. Might still be useable, but I can't fold it, which is why I bought it in the first place. July 28, 2014
Popup sweater dryer Can't live without these. They are great for laying sweaters flat to dry. They fold up into small size to store. I keep them in my utility room ready to use. March 28, 2014
Such an easy & good product. Easy to store & easy to use. March 27, 2014
Increases drying space I place these on top of a regular folding dryer rack. It increases the space and prevents small items from falling through. February 28, 2014

This seems to be a common problem, it would be nice if folding instructions were included.

Staff Answer
In order to collapse the stiff frame, place your hands on either side of the oval as if driving a steering wheel. Then twist one hand forward & one hand backward. The item will compress in on itself and you may hold it in place with the snap closure.
