Stainless Steel Sink Strainer
Is it silly to gush over a strainer?
We moved and the worst thing about the new place was the plastic sink strainers - they got coated with gunk in just a day or so and were disgusting! So, simple solution, buy new stainless strainers, right. Well, we bought them all from every store, even the Chinese store we found while visiting Canada! Nothing was very effective or stayed clean. Until we found these - yay! No clogged sinks, strainers do the job, they stay clean, and are easy to clean. Life is better.

Simple, classic design and gets the job done!
I bought one of these stainless steel sink strainers to replace a cheaper one I'd bought at a local grocery store, with wire-like straining , which got discolored early on and was hard to clean.
This one from the Container Store works because it's easy to clean, looks great, and sits flush in the kitchen sink opening. A friend of mine saw it and wants me to pick up 2 for her the next time I'm in the Container Store. I'll also pick up one more for us and at least one for my stepmother.
It's a little pricey but compared to the other, more flimsy models on the market, well worth the price. And MUCH cheaper than having to call the plumber if food gets stuck in your drain!

Pricey, but worth it
I purchased two of these last fall when I moved into a new apartment with a new sink, but no sink disposal.
The divided sink came with the traditional basket strainers for each side, but I knew I would rarely fill the sink and use the plunger part.
I was looking for a solution that would sit flush, and if it was good looking too, that would be a plus.
Brought one of these home, and liked it so much that after two weeks, I went back for a second. Works great to keep small food particles out of the drain pipe...I recommend it.

The best sink strainer made
These strainers are not only functional they make your sink more attractive. I have a stainless steel sink and these strainers catch all the food bits I do not want going down my drain, they allow the water I do want to go down the drain to flow freely because of their design. The surprise was how pretty they made my sink. They fit securely into the drain recess and they conceal the drain so all you see is shiny, sparkling steel. These are perfect in every way. I highly recommend them.
