I freeze these for the kids' lunch boxes
I get these sponges wet and then freeze them for the kids' lunch boxes. It works as an ice pack and by lunch time is thawed enough they can use it to wash their hands and face. The texture is soft and similar to a washcloth. I then run them through the dishwasher or washer / dryer (depending on which happens to be running).

They are the best, they really clean well. I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 because one fell apart fairly quickly. But other than that I love them and will continue to buy them.

I had a sponge like this that I bought many years ago and used for cleaning dog urine; so clearly that was not still in kitchen use. When I saw these at The Container Store last week, I tossed them in the cart as an impulse purchase. I figured that the urine-sponge needed replacing some time.....but thought I'd try using it for dishes just to see....and was suprized at how incredibly well it cleaned surfaces that can be very hard to get clean. I had thought - how would it clean as well as the kind with a scrubbing surface...but it does and MORE. As usual, an excellent product with great design....from the container store.

Best Sponge Ever
I was not aware that I could love a sponge so much! It holds a good amount of soap and "dispenses" it properly. It cleans really really well. I like that it is washable as well. These will be the only sponges I ever buy. Thank you to whoever created such a great product.
