Glass Refrigerator Pitchers

Made from heavy-weight material, our Glass Refrigerator Pitchers have the advantage of not absorbing odors or stains, and keep beverages cooler longer. Each comes with a locking hermetic plastic lid that seals tightly. They feature grip handles and the smaller version will fit perfectly on the refrigerator door. Pick the one that best fits your serving needs: juice, milk, water, coffee creamer, salad dressing, wine or margaritas.

Glass Refrigerator Pitchers 4.6 5 147 148
Nice Glass Pitchers I use these for excess storage of OJ and milk. They are kept stored behind the Quattro Stagioni Bottles (#10014858), which I use for everyday-storage of same beverages. [See my review of those bottles for photos.] The handles look short, but they work great and are easy to hold. I love that they keep OJ and milk super cold, and they look nicer than the plastic containers they came in. Beverages just taste better and stay colder in glass! The lids have a round silicone gasket on the underside; you need to hold down the top outer edge, and while doing that, use your other hand to turn the middle (to open and close). Seals tight and drinks stay fresh! I always shake before pouring, and these do not leak! Keep in mind that the silicone gaskets do retain the odor of some beverages (OJ), so you may be stuck with using the lid for the same beverage. I have not found that CS sells a replacement seal/gasket for these (like some other products). I use CS's Erasable Food Storage Labels (#454090) on the lids of my EVERYDAY bottles (Quattro Stagioni Bottles #10014858) to let me know the expiration date of beverages in these pitchers. Loved it so much, I got 2 I've owned a 34oz one for years for mixing lemonade with iced tea, infusing water with fruit, etc. I brew tea in it with 212 degrees F water straight from my electric kettle. No issues with it at all, as the pitcher has always been at room temperature first. Then I let it cool down for over an hour until no longer warm to the touch, and I stick it in the fridge. Got another one and have been doing the same with it. No cracks, no leaks, etc., even though the company says not to put boiling liquids in the pitchers, with their max somewhere around 148F. GREAT SEAL ON COVER BOUGHT TO STORE WATER WORKS GREAT NOT TO HEAVY FITS ON THE DOOR glass put in dish washer to sterilize March 6, 2014
Awesome I seriously love this pitcher. I have been using it for brewing iced tea with boiling water, but have read on another site that the manufacturer doesn't recommend it for boiling liquids, so I will have to reconsider that use. I had a glass carafe break apart when I poured boiling water in it, so now I am worried about this pitcher, although I have brewed tea in it daily for over a month. Otherwise this is great. You do have to take off the lid to pour, but it's no big deal, and lid does take some getting used to, but it creates a very tight seal once you master it. At first I didn't like how narrow the space between the handle and the body was, but I am used to it now. The only thing I really don't like about it is that the tea pours onto the side of the pitcher and on my counter if the tea is still warm (I brew half the pitcher with boiling water, then fill the rest with cold water), but have no problem at all when pouring it cold from the fridge. I guess it has something to do with the temperature of the glass... September 9, 2011

We do not recommend exposing the Glass Refridgerator Pitchers to hot liquids, as they may damage the glass or cause it to shatter. Hand washing is strongly encouraged.

Rubber lid rings

When I bought these pitchers originally a few years back, you had the rubber lid rings available, too, but I can't find them now. Do you still have them?

Answer:
We do not sell the rubber rings for this product separately. You might be thinking of the Replacement Hermetic Seals (item 10016238) we sell for the hermetic jars. However, these seals do not fit this pitcher.
