I love this strainer! Apartment living equals having a small kitchen. Every space saving trick helps! This strainer has proven to be very useful to me. It measures just over 16 inches long and 8 inches wide. It hangs FLAT against any convenient surface without getting in the way of anything else while it's not in use. I have other traditional strainers but this is the only one I've been using since I bought it! I'm seriously considering getting rid of the old ones so I can reclaim valuable cabinet space. Before ordering it I hesitated a little because it has no feet. However, I found that the small lip that sticks out of the round part allows me to secure it over the edge of one section of my double sink and the tip of the handle rests on the other edge. This way I can use it hands-free to rinse or strain anything. The silicone feels sturdy and it washes easily. The size is perfect for my needs. I ordered online and picked it up at the store.
