Good concept, bad execution
I purchased two of the square units thinking they would be the perfect container for saltines. The lids are not air tight and fit loosely, meaning your crackers will get stale. In fact, one lid has fallen off and I cannot find it anymore. The slide out tray was a nice idea so you can quickly pull out the crackers and place them out in a pleasing manner without much fuss or muss. However, unless the slide out tray is completely full at all times, the crackers slide out and get discombobulated, so you must take the time to dump them out and rearrange them on the tray before placing them out to eat.

Excellent product
Contrary to the other negative reviews (perhaps of the square model of these) this Round Stay Fresh Cracker Container Translucent thing is terrific.
I like it especially for traveling, as it keeps a roll of crackers from breaking, and can be adjusted as they are consumed.
I'm ordering a few more, now that I tried it.

Don't waste your money!
I was exxcited to see that this item was available because having a partially used pack of crackers is a common problem at my house. We all like our crackers to have that just opened cracker taste, but that's hard to do if you only use a few at one time. This seemed to be the answer to my problem. It was not, however. This is a flimsy container that is more trouble to use than it is worth. I want to emphasize the fact that the container is flimsy. So flimsy that it is hard to put the lid back on after it is opened. Also, the design, meant to hold crackers in a neat stack, is worthless. Who eats just enough crackers to make the remaining crackers fit the holder for storage? I wish I had my money back, but I don't live close to a store and it's too much trouble and not cost effective to mail the darn thing back. Live and learn! I do like most of the items I purchase at The Container Store. Just not this one!
