Fantastic for storing ice cream I make all my own ice cream and use these containers exclusively. I find that 1-quart containers are too tight and don't allow for expansion in the freezer. These work great, no matter what I add to the base. They fit in the freezer perfectly and efficiently, and I love the handle - it allows me to grab the container without freezing my hand - perfect!
