Just the right size! I love this bowl! It's just the right size for a healthy snack. I've filled it with grapes, yogurt, rice and beans... I just throw it in my backpack and it bounces around in there. It has yet to break open and spill. (Maybe it's just that good, or maybe I'm just lucky!) It's so quick and easy to clean, and because it's glass, it doesn't retain any smell or color from what I store in it. Love, love, love! July 7, 2011
Great for Storing and Reheating Leftovers I wanted a glass container for reheating left overs. I use these to store and reheat left overs. I love that there are different sizes available. You can stack them so that they don't take up too much space in the refrigerator or in your cabinets. May 4, 2010
Durable & Functional My husband and I had purchased two different sizes of these several years ago. Then, we decided to purchase more of them because they are so wonderful for leftovers and holding fresh foods (to keep them fresh longer). The glass is a thick, sturdy glass that you can feel confident about putting in the microwave (with the lid off, or else the food may stain the plastic lid) and in the dishwasher. Glass is the safest material to heat up foods in the microwave and to keep clean. Also, it never gets stained from having tomato-based (and other) food items stored in it for long periods of time. The lid may get stained (since it is a white plastic), but we are just careful not to have our leftovers go directly to the top of the bowls, and we always take the lid off and put a napkin over the glass when we heat up foods in the microwave. It works out great! These are the BEST for storing food (whether fresh or dry) and best of all, they are made in the USA! :) We have owned them for several years and bought more of them! Great glass container We recently switched from plastic to glass for storage and hubby's lunch containers. I love the Anchor glass bowls. The lids are tight, spillproof and easy to put on and off. No stains, no smells, and the food heats evenly when in the microwave. Great product all around April 30, 2014

Never put a hot dish from the oven directly on the countertop; use a trivet or hot pad. Abrasive cleansers, scrub pads and sharp objects may scratch and weaken the glass.
