Great Item My husband likes to help in the kitchen, when the cookbook was flat on the counter, he splattered water and other liquids on the pages, causing staining and wrinkling of the pages. Bought the cookbook stand and voila, problem solved. Book stands upright at about a 20 degree angle making it easy to read. The plastic shield allows you to follow the recipe with you fingers, you can wipe up any residue easily, and the shield covers both pages of the cookbook. It accommodates different size cookbooks. It's great. Highly recommend it. May 22, 2014
Adaptable to all recipes This stand can hold a big fat cookbook or a single index card. The brushed metal is simple in a classy way. For the largest books, the acrylic isn't quite big enough, but since it's a separate piece, I'm thinking I can get a slightly larger one to swap in. March 4, 2014
Love this holder Impeccable design, not only for a cookbook but also holds letter size paper printout from online recipes! December 7, 2013
Worth The Price!!! I hesitated before spending $30 on a cookbook stand BUT I'm glad I bought it. It is sturdy, protects my books, and looks great in my kitchen. I keep a favorite recipe displayed. It's from an old cookbook that my mother used to recreate a recipe my great-grandmother made. Mor-Mor never wrote anything down so Mother watched her, Swedish cookbook in hand, making adjustments to a printed recipe as my great-grandmother made HER grandmother's Swedish meatballs. I wouldn't want anything to ruin that page. While I use this for all of my cookbooks, that page is always displayed in my kitchen. This stand will hold the thickest of books just as well as the thin ones. The look is crisp and clean and goes with any decor. April 26, 2013
