Rothko Rolling Bike Stand
Versatile and Well-Designed Stand
The Rothko Rolling Bike Stand is perfect for our needs. It accomodates any of our bikes, from road bike to cruiser, with ease. Therefore, it is very convenient, when organizing a number of different-sized bikes in a family of cyclists. We started out with two stands and quickly increased to four. I also appreciate that it is moveable and nonpermanent....a great design overall.

Does not hold my bike steady, tends to tip over. Would need one for front and one for back tire to be secure. It does protect my floor from tire marks.

Good bike stand
This bike stand works great for us. One stand holds the bike in place. Eesy to put together, easy to move around.

Should've done more research before buying
Looked this up a while ago as I don't want to mount anything on my walls, finding it easier to just have my bike standing up. Thought I read reviews around the 'net, but alas, I apparently didn't do such a thorough job.
Assembles generally fine: 4 wheels screw in easily; then you can choose the layout of the support bars to accommodate the different widths of wheels. The latter take a little longer to screw in but no more than maybe 5-10 minutes in total depending on how well you hold onto the little wrench.
Then I put my front tire in it... Crud. This thing 'supports' the bike by putting pressure on the spokes. Now, I'm not someone who knows bikes too well, but that just doesn't seems right. And, unless you get the bike uber-straight, which takes some manipulation, the rack starts to tip over. My bike has a pannier on the back, so I thought maybe it's the weight from the rear (I was 'mounting' the front). So, I put the rear tire into the slot... Not much better.
I intend on returning this within the week when I have time. This is a piece of crud. Maybe good for kids bikes? I dunno.
