Modoloco Door Stop
Great Design for a Door Stop
I purchased this door stop for my Graphic Arts classroom. The door would never stay open. The nice design elements show my students how simple, every day objects can still be beautifully designed while increasing their efficiency. I keep the door stop on my door knob when not in use. Students ask about it and it opens dialog for design work.

Love this idea.
We have had doorstops get swept up at school. I love that this one can hang on the door handle and therefore, not get thrown away accidentally or otherwise.

Works GREAT if your under-door gap is thin
This is a great door stop. It is relatively thin (3/4" at its thickest) which means that if the gap under your door is more than 5/8" or so this won't work for you. At its thinnest it's about 1/8" so it works on low-clearance gaps too.
What makes this a great door stop is that the material is squishy and the wedge angle is very shallow so that it really nicely lodges itself UNDER the door, which makes it work great. Most other door stops are a thicker-angled wedge so they tend to just get pushed out in front of the door as it closes.
Another nice thing about this door stop is that it hangs on the door knob. That means you can also easily use it to prop the door ajar (to stop it from closing all the way). You can just rotate it out to wedge it between the door and the jamb. Then when you open the door, it swings down and comes to rest hanging under the knob again.
The stop material is soft and rubbery so it won't damage the finish of the door or jamb.
It's a little pricey for a single door stop but hangs on the door knob so it's easy to keep track which means you might not lose it as quickly.
