Color Block Nested Boxes
Very handy gift boxes
These little gift boxes are well-made and sturdy. They are not the fold-up kind of box. I love the different sizes and colors. My granddaughter also enjoys playing with them.

I love this!!!
I originally bought this as a handy way to store the various sizes of buttons I use for sewing, but I also LOVE it as a decorative piece in my living room! The colors are great and everyone's been asking me where I got it. It also looks good staked willy-nilly rather than just in ascending order of size.

Montessori gift: Hours of stacking and nesting
This set of colorful nesting boxes was a gift from our toddler's Montessori guide. About three weeks ago, she demonstrated how to nest three of the lidded boxes (like Matryoshka dolls), and then he was set off to work on nesting three boxes together, before progressing to nesting 5, then 7, then 9, and finally all 12. He plays with these boxes in three other ways as well. He separates the lids from the boxes and nests the lids in one pile and the boxes in another pile. Another way he plays with these boxes is pair up boxes of the same color, so that the tiny purple box sits on top of the large purple box, the small blue box sits on top of the larger blue box, and so on. And of course, like all toddlers, he builds towers using the lidded boxes or just the lids themselves: largest unit at the bottom, smallest unit on top, and vice versa. Sometimes the simplest materials lead to the most creative and enjoyable activities. This set of boxes has intrigued my son from the moment he laid eyes on it, and he reaches for and plays with this set multiple times a day, every day, without fail. (P.S. Construction's sturdy too!)

Color nested Boxes
Bought the colored nested boxes as a learning tool for preschool children...matching, stacking, math, spatial relationships. An awesome way to promote learning through play!
