Flimsy construction As other reviewers have noted, the shelves on this are flimsy and start to bend when a lot of weight is added. The brackets that hold them up are also flimsy. I put too much in this and the whole thing fell apart. Fortunately I was able to get it back together with a pliers, but ended up taking out half of the lower shelves and just stacking stuff on the bottom shelf, so that the upper shelves wouldn't be weighed down. Overall, not a good design and probably not worth what CS is charging. June 30, 2014
Great for small closets This is great for holding knit shirts and sweaters in small spaces. Pretty easy to get things into, and it is easy to see what is stored in it. Only con is that the shelves are a little flimsy and can come off easily. June 6, 2014
Very nice bag!! I would recommend this very highly--fully encloses clothing (no "leaks"). I just wish it were wider so that I could use a clothing rod to double-hang some things. Oh, well.... December 8, 2013
sweater bag My sweater bag was promptly delivered and it holds a lot more sweaters, on shelves and sealed with a zipper, than I thought it would and it makes my newly renovated closet so much neater and easy to access. March 7, 2013

Answer:
The top portion of this item has grommet openings for the hooks to pass through. The Peva Hanging Sweater Bag is not airtight & therefore not bug or pest proof.

Answer:
Obviously the other answer is correct, but I wanted to add my feedback. Yes, there are those openings (there are also small openings at the top and bottom of the zipper). I was able to easily seal these with duct tape (clear, so it wasn't unsightly). Having done so, I feel pretty safe that they are now bug-safe. I know that some bugs can slip through some wide-tooth zippers, and I can't be 100% sure about that, BUT the zippers on these are nice and small-tooth, so I feel like they are probably pretty close to bug-safe now that I've duct-taped the openings.
