Hugger Backpack by baggallini®
stitching on strap back roughed up my sweater
I took this bag on a trip to NYC and wore it mostly with the bag in the front. Although I liked its storage functionality and comfort very much, the stitching across the back of the strap (near the adjustability clasps) abraded my sweater, leaving it very pill-y. If you don't use it when you're wearing a sweater, it will probably be fine. But I hate to have to adjust my travel wardrobe to accommodate a design flaw in this bag.

great bag for wheelchair users
I have been looking for a bag that I could use in my wheelchair for years. They were in the way, to big, out of reach or got snagged on the bus lift.
The hugger back pack by baggallini is PERFECT: the right size, long enough strap to go cross body and allow easy access to all the pockets and little compartments. Holds everything my service dog and I need for a long day out.
LOVE LOVE the zipper pulls shaped to fit a thumb and finger easy to use. My service dog thanks you for not having to do zipper duty on the bag!

It's a great bag, I am a HUGE fan of Baggallini, I have purchased about 20 different items from them. I own the Urban Backpack which was a lot more money and is very cute - but is not as useful as the Hugger. The Hugger is more of a sling than a backpack but that's okay, it's better because if you need to get something out of it you can slide it around to the front and get into it. A traditional backpack has to be removed and can be a pain. I go to NYC a lot and it's annoying to have to take a backpack off every time I get in a cab or on the subway. This can be adjusted to sit on your side or against the front of your body very quickly. My only complaint is that a smart phone will not fit into the pouch on the strap, so I'm using it for my reading glasses. They should make this same style in a bigger size for people who carry more stuff.

This is more of a travel purse than a backpack which is what I wanted...and I didn't want to load it down and end up with a heavy bag. It is comfortable across the body and easily accessible without removing it from around my neck. Should be perfect for travel! Price is reasonable, too!
