Endless Possibilities
For some products, the claim of endless possibilities is a gross overstatement. For Elfa systems, that statement could not be more true. Elfa components can be combined in so many different ways allowing you to customize the height, width, and even depth.
For example, the drawer frames are available in two depths: the cabinet size (17") and the regular (21"). The accompanying cross bars are available in 4 widths: X-Narrow, Narrow, Medium, and Wide. Now, what if you have room for a drawer unit that is shallow and wide? Combine the 17" deep cabinet size frames with wide cross bars. Add the regular medium drawers turned sideways and voila! (The width of the medium drawer is equal to the depth of the cabinet size frame). Or how about an instant dresser/storage unit? Combine 3 units (regular (21") frames with medium width crossbars) side by side. You could buy melamine tops for each individual unit or top it with a TCS desktop. It fits perfectly, creating one solid top instead of three small ones. (See Picture). And I haven't even gotten to the different frame heights and drawer depths yet!
Moving? Re-organizing? If I had a nickel for every time I've taken apart an efla unit and re-purposed it, I'd be a rich woman. They're like Legos for grown-ups! So don't be afraid to think outside the box. The possibilities really are endless.

Pantry Expander
I use this in my pantry. It fits perfectly under the bottom shelf and has provided a great place to store kids craft stuff and kid snacks which frees up more space above for the rest of our food. It has held up well to my three kids and is amazingly sturdy.

I own several of these. One I use as my kitchen island. They are very well made, sturdy, econimical and I love them! I put this one in my bathroom. I plan to buy another for a closet.
