This desk just works! This is the most practical, suitable, workable desk that I have ever had, and I have tried a lot of desks. I love that I was able to choose the color wood and metal that fit my decor and was able to choose the components that fit my organization needs. Even though it is freestanding it is very sturdy. It was easy to assemble; however, I did make one assembling mistake, but the Container Store replaced the part I bent with no questions asked. Thank you Container Store. April 26, 2013

Christmas in February We absolutely love the freestanding desk. We choose Platinum and Walnut and expanded it to include 2 desks and a shared drawer space. We didn't realize that it was customizable until we went into the store; the associate was patient and funny as we designed. The installer was awesome too; on time, efficient and personable. We have decided to treat ourselves to one Elfa upgrade each year during their annual sale. It has been refreshing to embrace organization in small affordable steps. March 19, 2013
