Looks great We have an old house and did not want to attach a closet system to the old plaster walls. This freestanding system works great and looks very classy. It looks like a custom closet system, but you can remove it later without any marks on the walls or floor. This would also be a big plus if you were renting. April 27, 2012

Perfect for a small apartment! I have a great apartment, but little closet space. I set this stand alone closest up in my bedroom and it looks great. By filling it with my most stylish clothing and accessories it has become more decor than storage. It can get pretty pricey and is difficult to put together - definitely need two people - but well worth it. I highly recommend it! February 1, 2011

Love the Freestanding Elfa System I have four Elfa closet systems and I am addicted to them. I keep adding to them and switching them up. My latest system is the Freestanding Elfa Closet. What started out as two extra feet of storage on a wall has grown into 8 feet of storage and hanging on both sides. Set 3 feet from the wall it takes up about 5 x 8 feet of space in my multiple purpose room. Its a lot of storage, I know, but now everything I own has a place and it has cut hours of searching, prep and frustration from my day. I can find everything in a matter of seconds and I love just looking at it. Its neat and some shelves are just decorative ways to show off my things which breaks up the storage.
