6-Section Shoe & Handbag Organizer
Very easy to put together, with only a cross screwdriver! Good quality for the price, option to put it sideways or standing up. I purchased two; one as a handbag organizer and the order as extra storage space. I used baskets for eash compartment to store various items, including sweaters. It is a little heavy once put together and you would need someone's help to lift and put on top of a closet. I used one inside a metal cabinet in my basement and I'm ready to move the winter clothes down. Worked great!

My purses finally get their attention as they so rightfully deserve. the handbag organizer fit perfectly at the ground level in my walk in closet and i can use the top part of the organizer to place my bigger bags. it's nice to finally see my purses displayed properly.

Works well for handbag organization
I purchased two of these to store my handbags and am very pleased with the construction, size, and appearance. The individual slots are sized appropriately for most handbags, although I do have a few with top handles (that don't fold down) that don't fit and have to be stored in another container or on the top of this item.
I'm not great at assembling or building things, but I was able to put these together easily and correctly the first time with the provided instructions. The instructions say you need a philips head screwdriver, but I'd recommend a drill if you have one because you need to apply pressure and there are eight separate holes.
Also, I stacked one on top of the other and they are very sturdy. There are holes for the provided dowels that allow for the units to fit into each other for stability.

Overall the 6 slot organizer is a good product as well as the other similar components. It can be assembled quickly and easily. I have purchased 3 of the 8 slot, 1 of the 6 slot, and 3 of the 2 shelf units over the past 9 months. I would give the products a 5 star rating if the hardware packages consistently contained all of the required items for assembly. The Container Store charges top dollar for these units so they need to improve their quality control on the hardware as missing items is not acceptable.
