Worst Product Ever I purchased two the jumbo garmet bags. The holes in each end to the garmet bag which that hold on to the bag is not for your normal size closet, its too small. They ripped the plastic on the bag both bags rendering it useless. The plastic and were ill equiped to hold a tiny disk to keep pests out of the bag. The velcro was difficult to keep straight. As far as durabilty, there is none. When I finally put the bag up it was full of holes and tears. Moths could easily get in. I would never recommend this to anyone. I was furious and just threw them away, I would not want replacements of these same type bags sent to me, again. This was my first experience ordering with The Container Store." If these garment bags or anything else is of this quality or any other product they sell are they quality this may be my first and last time I will shop here. My overall rating is 0 but, the websote would only accept 1. January 1, 2011
nice hanging bag these bags are a good size, easy to attach to garment rack and hold quite a few items of clothing February 14, 2011
finally found this! I have been looking for and wanting one of these for a long time. All my suits and dresses (which I hardly wear anymore due to life changes) are sitting in the closet collecting that nasty dust ridge across the shoulders and neckline. My mom has had something like this in her closet since I was a kid so I had an idea of what I wanted...just couldn't find it anywhere. What I really like about this one (and reading reviews helped me understand this better too) is that it is frameless which means that it doesn't have big and bulky hardware with it. It can expand as large as they say, but if you don't have that much space to spare in your closet (or just don't have that many garments to put in it) then you can use it at whatever size is right for you as it will collapse smaller as needed. I REALLY like that. I also measured my clothes and found that this was a great size for me to put my dresses AND suits all in one place. I even have blouses and skirts in there as all my 'nicer' hanging clothes actually fit in the one bag!! Would totally recommend this and if you have more clothes than me I'd say buy 2 or as many as you need....can't go wrong and it's a great price too! Oh yeah, I also REALLY like how this goes around your existing clothes rod which makes it very sturdy because you aren't putting all the weight of your clothes on this product...the weight of your clothes remains on your closet rod...very smart design! Works like it should! I have this bag and a couple of the suit bags and everything works fine. Very easy to set up. Velcro across the top was easy. Not sure about the other review here but just check the diameter of the hanging rod before you attempt to set it up and you will avoid any issue there. Check your dimensions as 2 feet wide is some good hanging space. Depending on what you store your may also look at some cedar or some other pest repellent in the bottom for longer term storage of clothing. January 30, 2011

How is it attached to rod?

Do you have to remove the rod from the closet and tread it through the bag?

To use, secure the bag over the closet rod with the Velcro closure, open the zippered opening, and hang your clothes directly on the closet rod. There is no need to remove the rod from the closet wall.
