fair product for a fair price
Used to contain my loose leaf tea that i did not want to go stale that i buy in bulk. perfect for that not sure if I would make these my every day food containers though. There is better containers for not much difference in cost.

Passion for storage
How can one have passion for a storage container? Well I can when I thought I could not find my much loved Decor brand screw top food storage conatiners. I have acquired about 15-20 of these unbelievable beauties over the last several years. Then I could find them at the Atlanta store at Perimeter Mall. What a shock. Then yesterday I came back to the store and there they were: all three sizes: what I call small, medium, and large. So, to make sure I don't run out in the future I bought about 12 more in all sizes. We have been using them for years; everyday; in and out of the microwave and dishwasher everyday. No failures: no warpping, no cracking, they are amazing. They fit so well in the frig and stack so well. I can not say enough good things about them. By the way: I drive 160 miles to the Container store to get these....well worth the trip. Please keep them in stock!!!

OK, but.....
I got 5 of the smallest (4oz) containers, to use for salad dressing for work lunches. Naturally, I put them in the dishwasher before I tried to use them. Because of everything I had to wash, 2 went in one load, 3 in the other. The last three (I guess) were washed with something that could stain them because the lids were stained when I removed them from the dishwasher. I'm sure it won't keep them from working, but if you want everything to look "new" and "clean", you might want to be careful what you wash them with.
I haven't had a chance to use them, but the lids look to be tight enough to keep liquids inside even when tossed & turned in a lunch box/bag. So, it's just an aesthetic issue.

Perfect for the job
I purchased the 1.5 quart size for the purpose of storing my newly churned ice cream in the freezer. The shape and quality of this product is perfect for the job.
