Pet Food Containers 4.8 5 290 290
Wonderful I bought both sizes and I love them. You hear the click when the container is closed. My cat tries to open it and can't. My dog enjoys pushing around his food container around the kitchen and plays with it. February 13, 2010
Great My dog had to go on a prescription diet recently. The dog food only comes in giant 25 lb bags. My dog is 17 lbs. I was searching and searching for a trash-can sized air-tight container to store all of this food in so it wouldn't become stale before my dog got around to eating it all. Container Store was the only place I could find one and it works great. It even comes with optional wheels to attach to the bottom. March 3, 2010
space saver! What a great product to help organize the pet food in my small laundry room. With two dogs, I need to keep a lot of food on hand, usually buying two 16 pound bags at a time. The large container holds both of them, and keeps them stored away neatly. March 3, 2010
Fabulous! We purchased this container for cat food. Love it! It's compact size allows it to slide into a space between the wall and the secretary. Since it's clear, we know exactly how much food is left. I'd totally recommend this! Fab product! March 5, 2010

Outside storage?

I want something I can store birdseed in on my deck. Super hot out there in the summer. I'm wondering if there will be a problem with moisture collecting inside the container and if there is a better choice for a container.

Answer:
I store birdseed in these containers. Containers are stored on a covered porch so not in the direct sun, but it still can reach 90 degrees or more on the porch. Never had any problems with moisture.

Answer:
We do not recommend exposing this product directly to the elements, but you may place it in a garage, or on a porch. The product does feature airtight closures, which should help with the moisture concern. It is also constructed from polypropylene, which is a very sturdy plastic material.

Are These Bug Proof?

Are these containers bug proof? I suddenly have an infestation of pantry moths and need something to store cat food in that will keep bugs out.

Answer:
These container are not bug-proof. You may want to look into our Click Clack Solutions, or you may want to look into our No-Moth solutions. Our Click Clacks are air tight, and our No-Moth kills moths with little to no odor. Please refer to our Product Recommendations for additional details.

We need an airtight and cockroach proof container to hold popcorn kernels for our elementary school PTO fundraiser. We store kernels year-round for "Popcorn Fridays" and we live in Florida - cockroach capital. The casters are perfect so we can easily move the containers from the storage area to the vending area.

Answer:
The Pet Food Containers are not airtight, so we cannot recommend them for your particular needs. You may want to try our Dry Food Vault. It is an airtight container that can hold from 45-50 lbs of food. Please reference the Product Recommendations below for additional details. Unfortunately it is not on casters.

The largest of these items are intended to store no more than 75 pounds of birdfeed and would probably not be the best choice for your cement storage.
