Locking Trunk with Wheels
Three Cheers for this Trunk!
Our college-bound kid has been using this trunk for the past 2 years, and he has had no complaints. It is sturdy, reliable, good looking.
We highly recommend the Cheerleader Trunk with Wheels!

Not Good For Actual Use
Let me preface this with I am a HUGE fan of Container Store. I have purchased tens of thousands of dollars in products from them and outfitted more than 50 closets with their products. This is in no way a bad review for them, it is specific for THIS product and I know many parents are looking for camp trunks right now and I want to make sure you don't make the mistake I made. I also want to acknowledge, Container Store gave me no troubles and happily took the trunk back and refunded my money.
This trunk says it is rated for 250ls. It is NOT. We used this twice for my son to take to camp. The first time we recognized it was heavy, awkward and not easily transportable. Your cheerleader WILL NOT be hauling this anywhere. The second time we attempted to use it the wheel ripped completed off the bottom, bracket and all before even loading on the bus. This is fine for storing something in your house but not for transporting anywhere. It is virtually impossible for a strong adult to carry this alone and it is impossible for a child to do it. The handle is not flexible and is hard to hold and if you are planning to pull this trunk somewhere (since you will NOT be able to carry it full) that is problematic. The trunk is wide and deep which means it can hold a lot but means trying to carry it without rolling it, even when it is empty, is very difficult. Also it does not fit inside most cars, you will need a truck or SUV to haul this. I recommend if you must buy this trunk that you purchase a separate luggage trolley to move it around on. Or you may end up like me having to enlist the help of a friendly stranger to carry the trunk where it needs to go.

More than strong enough to wisthstand my 2 boys
My 2 young boys were always complaining that the other is taking his things. I decided a trunk for each would be a good idea. However, the only ones I found didn't seem to be sturdy enough as my boys are very rough on things. When I was visiting relatives, I went into a container store and saw the chearleader trunk. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was the right trunk for them because it was heavy and seemed well built. I also liked that it is american made. Well, let me tell you, as hard as my boys try, they can't beat up their trunks. They jump on them, play on them and even sometimes eat on them and the trunks hold up just beautifully. My sister-in-law ended up buying some for her kids too. She also thinks they're great.

Versatile and Great Quality
This trunk is awesome. It holds so much stuff and looks great. It's strong enough that I step on it multiple times every day to climb onto my bed (which is raised high with bed raisers in my dorm room). The trunk could definitely function as extra seating. I've had it for 1.5 years now, and it's holding up magnificently. The wheels are subtle but so useful to move the trunk when necessary. The lock feature works well, too!
