Deco Step Cans
This is a visually appealing canister for stowing your waste. It's lightweight, durable and contains odors with its fully closing lid.

I paid $60 for this?
Looks fine, fits in a small space and all that, but the bag does NOT stay on the can. The bag holder does not hold it in place and therefore at some point the bag slips down into the can and I have to manually put the garbage back into the trash bag (yuck). I have been using standard, hefty 13 gallon trash bags. I also tried taking the bag holder levers off and just folding the bag over the edge, but the can is longer than the length of the trash bag, so it also slips down into the can. Definitely not worth $60, and obviously I can't return it now since it's had trash in it for a couple of weeks.

Very nice looking. Only cons: 1) It is lightweight and scoots slightly when you open and close it. 2) There is a set of handles inside that hold the plastic bag in place so you don't see the white sticking outside your new can. When you remove the full bag, those handles tend to grab the sides as you pull the bag up. No solution here, just an awkward design challenge for the product engineers.

Great Recycling Bin
I just ordered the 13.2 gal Deco Step can. It looks great in our kitchen. It is a nice size. My only concern is that the inside does not come out to empty as I do not use a plastic bag for recycling. It is not heavy for emptying however & the air holes seem to keep it dry.
