I use these to store income tax documents for each year in one place. I don't use their label but make a label for the front, the edge and the clasp for easy recognition of the tax year. All important receipts and worksheets are in one place along with the actual copy of the return filed. BUT, as others have said, the slotted fit of the top and bottom as well as the clasp are a problem over time. Older ones just won't stay closed so I must use a piece of tape to keep it closed. Since I don't go in them often, if at all (hopefully!), this is a minor inconvenience.

I bought these containers because my folders did not keep up well and they ended up being much better. They are great if you divide the inside up with something and store on a shelf very well. Although sometimes they don't close quite right and the clamp will not stay on but otherwise they stay shut very well. They also scratch very easily (unless I by mistake bought very scratched ones). If you are looking for something thin such as a folder they are not for you.

we had been looking for something strong to keep our return address labels in and stamps. The box we had the items in was falling apart. This is the perfect size and keeps everything nice and neat.

Not only are they great for stacking, but you can stand them on end like a book. I put projects, and diagrams for projects in them, and line them up on my bookshelf as a '"to-do" list.
