Use them to hold toiletries, spices, small plants, books, pictures, or the clock radio by your bed. Two is better than one with the Double Acrylic Shelf - get twice the storage space. Mounting hardware is sold separately. For mounting these shelves on wood, use the screws from our #4 - #8 Screws and a 1/8" Drill Bit. Reviews

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 35 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect! Great shelf for a "floating" look. I needed shelves that weren't big, bulky, or fancy, that wouldn't draw attention to themselves, as they were used alongside a larger, eye-catching display. I can envision many more uses for these great little shelves. June 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Shelf I bought this shelf unit for our powder room bathroom because the room is very small. The shelf is a great option for small spaces as it doesn't 'clutter up' the space. February 22, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love, love love them! These shelves are fantastic. Easy to install and they look beautiful. So far I've hung 6 in my sewing room, both the 8" and 6" widths. Because they are clear, the overall effect is a light and airy one. Cannot saw enough good things about them. November 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome For Small Bathrooms I put two of the smaller shelves up in my apartment bathroom and they are perfect. Very sturdy. My roommate and I store all of our beauty / hair products in a photo box on one shelf and extra tissue on the second shelf. October 23, 2014

how much weight can these shelves hold?

I'm looking for shelves to use for holding liquor bottles above a bar --
would these be able to support that kind of weight or are there other shelves that would be a better choice?

Answer:
I don't think these shelves can hold up a collection of liquor bottles unless we are talking the little travel sized ones lol. I don't know of any other shelves that would work; however, maybe you can reinforce the strength of these shelves but putting two brackets underneath the long single shelf one.

My personal thoughts are that they should not be used for anything too heavy, at least not the larger ones. I think they might bow downward in the middle.

Answer:
We do not have a recommended weight capacity for these shelves. The weight capacity could vary depending on how the shelves are anchored to the wall. We consider these to be light duty shelves, and they may not be the best fit for liquor bottles.

You may want to try our Glass Shelves with Cable Brackets as it can support up to 75 lbs. Please view our Product Recommendations for additional details.

Answer:
Most Likely. My shelves were pretty sturdy without the anchor so you should be even better with the anchor.

These are considered "light duty" shelves but if you install them into a stud they should be able to support the weight of nail polish.

Answer:
I mounted mine with the fasteners at the top, because the downward curve of the fasteners against the wall leaves a small gap between shelf and wall, and I didn't want to have to "dust" that gap. hahaha Lazy me, but it looks just fine with the fastener at the top.

What would I need to do in order to trim and inch off or the 18"? I'm working within 17.5'' an just need to shave a half inch off of each side so that the shelves will fit in the desired antique box.

We do not recommend cutting, or altering, the Acrylic Shelves. In doing so, you may compromise the integrity of the product or the strength of the pre-drilled screw holes.

Distance between holes for 80040 and 80070?

I bought some similar looking shelves at a garage sale that I installed in my bathroom but lost when I removed them to paint. I am wondering if I can use the same holes. The current holes are exactly 16" apart. I need to know the distance between the holes for item numbers 80040 and 80070.

The Acrylic Shelves have pre-drilled holes located 2" from each end. So, the holes on items 80040 and 80070 are 14" apart.

We do not have a recommended weight capacity for these Acrylic Shelves. However, they are recommended for light duty storage which means that 20 pounds of books would be considered too heavy.
