Rated 5 out of 5Â by Limerent Needs assembling, but good compartmentalized box
There are 3 TCS options for packing drink ware in compartmentalized carton boxes; this is the cheapest of the three.
The other two options require you to purchase the grids separately; this is all-in-one.
Also, at 8.25" H, this is the shortest of the 3 options.
The Best Box is 10.75".
The Corrugated Moving Box is 12-5/8".
The grids on all 3 options measure 4" x 4" wide.
Older reviews mentioned that there were no instructions included; now they do. Still, I found it confusing to put the first box together. But after the first one, the rest came easily.
One-piece construction means the lid is attached to the body. The 5 pieces needed to construct the grid is easy to assemble.
The only thing that would make this box perfect is if it were designed with built-in holes for handles, like the Best Box.

You need a utube video to show customers how to put this box together. I am so frustrated I'm simply throwing my mine out!

I'm having new flooring installed so it's like I'm moving. I needed something to protect my goblets and a few wine glasses and this fit the bill perfectly.

The container store's set-up can sometimes make you miss alternative solutions to your storage needs. As clever and organized as the container store is, you can be forced into settling, when your better solution is a few aisles away! These stemware, glassware, coffee mug storage boxes are also excellent ornament storage, under-the-bed clothing, kids' art supplies, and many other small items that need compartmentalization. If you are not finding what you need in the standard box-and-closet section... wander over to kitchen storage.

This is a good way to store fragile crystal. The sections help protect the glasses.

I have purchased probably a dozen of these boxes to move my stemware and glasses. They are fabulous. They were not nearly as difficult to assemble as I thought they would be after reading the other reviews. I will definitly be keeping these boxes after the move and re-using them for general storage ane oragnization. They are very sturdy and stack very nicely.
The biggest drawback was the lack of handles, or even handle holes. Once assembled the hole in the side can trick you - as it did my husband - but the top just opens. Maybe some handle holes on the bottom half of the box or some handles you could pull through slots on the top of the box... I would not hate it. :)

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Mike48 Functional but awkward to assemble
comes flat which is easy to transport but directions are a bit skimpy; be patient and have a wall to lean the box on on the 3rd fold unless you have a second pair of hands; by the third one it was easy

Rated 5 out of 5Â by RFowler Great value, great functionality
This box was a little difficult to assemble, but I think that was because I was not translating what I was reading into what I was seeing, both on the box itself and on the illustrations provided with the written instructions. If I were planning to store my crystal stemware permanently, I would have spent more money on one of the other styles of storage containers. This is perfect for my short term intentions and, frankly, will last longer than "temporary" if necessary. For a little more money you can buy the box w/separate lid and the divider insert if you don't want to mess with assembly. You can't make a "wrong" choice with the container store!
