This ornament storage unit is very pretty. I like that the bottoms are solid. The ornament compartments are very big, so my ornaments kind of roll around inside. Which is not the best.
Also, you can't really pull out the drawers like you think you could. Since they rest on top of each other, you have to pull them out one by one from top to bottom.
Otherwise, it's a very festive storage solution.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by KPinch A great item!
Started out buying 2 of these units, then went back and brought a 3rd one! Sturdy and well made. Easy to assemble. Each individual storage drawer makes it so nice to pull out and all compartments are defifinitely large enough to handle large christmas balls or ornaments.
I was so unhappy with containers I purchased previously where you had to empty out the top row, just to get to to the bottom row. Nice job Container Store......don't discontinue this one.....it's a winner!

The flat piece for one of the shelves was missing, thankfully we needed a shelf for garlands and could put the cardboard dividers flat. Sadly that doesn't make me feel secure about buying it again in the future if parts will be missing, bought these because we had very breakable ornaments this year.

Over the past 25 years I have collected many Christopher Radko and other glass ornaments. This year, I tossed out the old cardboard storage boxes and purchased 4 of these 3-drawer ornament chests. they were easy to assemble and I had plenty of room for my ornaments. I used bubble wrap to provide extra protection for some of the larger or more fragile ornaments. This is a GREAT ornament storage system and will make it easy to unpack and repack each year.

Easily assembled, deep enough for most of my ornaments. Wish the sides were more rigid. Like that the cardboard inserts can be arranged to accommodate larger items; however, if you don't have cross pieces close to the sides, the drawers do not stack well.
