The 2 ounce tin is 2.5" in diameter, but there seems to be a recess in the top lid. I want to cut out a round label that fits into that recess. I'm guessing it might be around 1.75" maybe, but if anyone knows please share! Thanks a bunch.

The outer lip around the lid of these tins is 1/8" thick. So, the flat recessed portion of the 2 oz. Seamless Tin lid measures 2-1/4" diameter.
