I've been using the overcabinet hook to hold up our oven mitts and it works great! It fits nicely on the cabinet door and doesn't get in the way when I'm opening or closing the door. The hook part is very big which is nice because it prevents my oven mitts from come flying off every time I open the cabinet door.

Besides the obvious use as advertised for dish towels when hooked to the cabinet door, I have used them to hang my oven mitts, and on the cabinets near the back door a flashlight (with a looped handle) and my dogs' "wipe them up when they come in from the rain towels". I also bought them for my son who is in college and has limited space for hanging damp bath towels- he hooks his to the top drawer of the highboy chest in his dorm room so the towels can dry in time for the next shower.

 by Cintia Great hook
I use this hook on my top cabinets, one for pot holder and one for kitchen towel. It is great for me, pot holder and towel are right where I need them and away from my toddlers hands.

Love the over-the-door items...this little hook is perfect for an extra spot for a pot holder (by my microwave).

by RonaB GREAT for bathroom towels!!!
I moved from a large house to a small condo and was lacking space in my bathroom...My young neighbor shared this brilliant idea with me. I didn't want to take the towel bars off the walls so instead I hang 3 "over cabinet hooks" spaced evenly on the bar...Instead of two crowded (usually messy damp) towels I can hang 3 large towels or a hand towel and they dry quickly. This is also a fabulous idea in my teenage sons bathroom because it is simple for him to hang his towels. I also have used 3 hooks on my glass shower door enclosure and it is provides a little privacy and is convenient and attractive. I would highly recommend...a very "modern" look:)))

Rated 3 out of 5Â by HappyLady7 Too wide for my cabinet
I use this product, but it is too wide for my kitchen cabinet doors and so it is not very secure.
I should have listened to the other reviewers who said it was too wide for their doors. I didn't really consider my cabinet doors to be extra thin, but they aren't really thick either. So I guess check this before you purchase the item.
It is lined with a rubber type material which seems nice. Overall it seems like a well made item.

I was searching for a place to put my kitchen towel, but the stick on hook variety wouldn't last very long.
Thankfully, I found this over the door hook. I've placed our hook on the inside of the cabinet so that now it's easy to store our towel out of sight.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Lazuli Good product and price
Purchased for my tine kitchen with no place to hand dish towels.
Fits on my cabinet door perfectly and looks good. I did find that my towels are a bit thick, so need a loop sewed on so they stay on the hook properly.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by conz Attractive, Versatile
I just purchased 6 of the Forma Overcabinet Hooks. I am a renter and so cannot attach hooks to the walls in my storage closet to hang cleaning items. There is, however, a ledge in the closet. I was able to hang these on the ledge and hang my beautiful brooms, which are made by the student craftsmen at Berea College. I also wanted to be able to hang my oven mitts inside the kitchen cabinet where I keep my cooking pans. Tip: If, like me, you do not like the appearance of a hook on the door, even just that bit of metal on the backside when it is hung hook-side facing in (and even if the hooks are attractive, as these are), here is what I discovered. My cabinets are like the ones in the picture. If you pull out the drawer, you can hang the hook inside of the cabinet, hook-side facing in, on the ledge just under the drawer. Works great and no appearance of anything hanging on your cabinet door. So, these hooks can be used in many ways to suit your needs and aesthetic preferences. One small con: depending on the thickness of your cabinets or whatever you hang the hooks from, the hooks may not fit snugly, so lifting what is hanging on the hook may also lift the hook itself. I consider this a very minor problem, and one that could be fixed easily enough.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by zelk Rusty after only two years!
The product description identifies the hook as being made of rustproof stainless steel, however (after only two years) both of my Forma overcabinet hooks have developed rust. I'm rather disappointed.

Our sink is in an island with no overhead cabinets. I had no place to hang my hand towel except on the island cabinet door. This hook came in handy for a while until every time I lifted off the towel, the hook came off with it. There is a rubber tension to it, but it doesn't work very well against the cabinet. Plus, my cabinet door isn't very thick and the hook is loose on it. I like the idea very much so I'll try the over door towel BAR instead of this hook.

It is a small item and inexpensive but very handy for finding a towel easily and not just tossed on the countertop.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by LibraryLu Great all-purpose door hook for cabinets
I use this in my office for the door on my storage wardrobe- its smaller size fits better than hooks meant for actual doors (like an office door/front door/etc). I use it to hang my cascading file tote from you guys as well, and it's perfect- small enough to be unobtrusive, but strong enough to hold a 6-pack of full files!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by nosopradio Simple idea. Really convenient.
Using these to hold oven mitts. Also, you can turn them around and use them INSIDE a cabinet, which I am doing. I am using it for this cheese grater that I don't want to put in a drawer - afraid I will get cut. Now, it is hanging safely on the inside of a cabinet.
Only problem is these hooks can shift around a little, but other than than, they are great.
